Supplice is an action FPS game inspired by classical shooters and by the modding community that created interesting mechanics for classical mid-90s games such as Doom. You can download it’s alpha demo over at its Steam page. It’s being developed by Mekworx.
You play as an engineer responsible for terraforming a distant planet in the game ‘Supplice’. A tragedy strikes the colony after an anomaly covers the Flux Gate facility, causing the world to be flooded with horrific dimensions. You quickly learn that you are the only survivor of the savage assault. You resolve to avenge the attacker who turned your new home into a massacre, despite the fact that it is too late to preserve the colony. Now it’s up to you to reciprocate the favor on your own.
Humanity has outgrown its cradle.
The game offers numerous locations such as industrial superstructures, biotechnology nightmare scapes, and so on. Due to its diverse animations and set-pieces, this game has a distinct storyline that makes it an intriguing game to play. The entire experience is rendered in spritework that is both vintage and vibrant. It also includes robots, frightening monsters like ghosts, and strange weapons and devices to aid you in combat.
