The Secret World MMORPG was released a while back, and when it did it got a lot of praise for its world, story and characters, but criticized for its gameplay. We didn’t hear from it again for a while until now, where it’s now renamed to Secret World Legends.
This time around though, it will be a free-to-play game and it will drop the “MMO” description and instead calling itself a an online multiplayer “shared-world action RPG”.
This new version of the game will have improved visuals, a reworked quest flow, and improvements on its criticized gameplay / combat systems. Fans of the game are probably happy with this announcement, and those who dropped the game back at around its launch will probably dip their toes and see if they’ll like the game, compared to the last time they tried it out with the first version.
