Samudra, an atmospheric 2D puzzle adventure game developed by Khayalan Arts, is now in beta and has a demo available for download on it’s Itch page.
You play as a young boy as you journey to the deep, polluted sea. Experience several locations, meet sea dwellers and see lots of pollution. Help save the sea and discover hidden secrets and easter eggs as you solve several exciting puzzles.
The hand drawn art is absolutely lovely to look at and the music is soothing and matches the atmosphere of the game. In addition, there is no dialogue or text available in the game which only complements the game’s style.
The developers were very inspired to make this game because of their backgrounds as activists in NGO’s in Indonesia. They hope that with this game they will be able to spread awareness about the dangers of neglecting nature and polluting the environment. If you would like to support their cause don’t forget to donate on their Itch Page.
If you enjoyed playing the alpha demo, and would like to keep up to date with the game’s development, then make sure to check out and follow the developers’ Twitter account.
