Rivals of Aether is a beautiful 2D pixel indie fighting game in the same vein as Super Smash Bros. set in a world where choose and play as one of a variety of beasts who control one of the four main elements which are Fire, Water, Air and Earth.
We don’t have many games in this genre and there should, as ROA is a great game with a a good selection of game modes and a handful of very unique characters with their own play-styles. We aren’t great fighters but we did definitely have fun playing it with how responsive the game is and secondly how lovely its pixel aesthetics look with great sound effects and an awesome soundtrack.
