Needlesong is a twinstick shooter developed by Yongmin Park, originally for the GMTK Jam 2019. The game’s prototype is available for download over at its itch page.
The game feels very similar to Enter the Gungeon where you navigate the area trying to avoid projectiles coming your way while simultaneously killing off your enemies. The catch is, you only have one weapon: a mind controlled needle.
Your needle can fly through the air and be controlled separately, and using it doesn’t impair your movement! The unique complexity of the gameplay, combined with its great looking pixel art style and fantastic music, provides you with a refreshing, fun and exciting playthrough.
Navigate the map and defeat bosses all the while trying to keep your character safe from attacks in this bullet hell experience.
