Love Letter, a third person anime stealth game where you play as a Yandere, has been cancelled, as the head developer DrApeis has announced via an update video “The Cancellation of Love Letter”.
The reason for the halt in the game’s development, is because of what the developer has described as constant toxic drama, harassment and having the development team getting doxxed, as well as other reasons like stress and insomnia.
It’s unfortunate that the development team had to face these issues that led up to the cancellation of Love Letter, but their health and safety takes top priority of course. Let’s hope that we’ll see what they’d be working on next after their break from the gaming / game-development industry.
