Hero.EXE is a deck building action anime RPG styled after Battle Network’s Megaman series, with an alpha demo you can download over at its Steam page, that’s being developed by Mystery Egg Games.
In the game, you dive into battle to combat game glitches and progress your way through the story to save the digital world. Collect code cards and execute them on your turn to enter a different combat style where you move around the grid to fight and defeat your enemies.
In addition, story-driven choices characterize this game for a more immersive feel. Your Ava (Artificial Virtual Assistant) will take note of your choices and gain effects according to them. Trigger node encounters, build your deck, and be the hero this game needs.
