Becastled, a 2D real time strategy game with a medieval style, is in alpha and the demo is available to download on its Steam page. It’s being developed by Mana Potion Studios using the Unity engine.
This game is all about building your village and managing resources. Assign villagers on tasks to generate resources used to build different buildings. Manage the economy and build houses, but beware when night comes! Be ready to defend your village against the hordes of enemies charging towards you. Train troops and build walls to fend off the enemy siege.
Becastled is still in its early stages so only the core mechanics are working but there will be a lot of new content added. Currently there are 26 different buildings you can choose from, and 7 resources to run. There is also 4 types of player units, 4 enemy units, and 4 enemy siege weapons. In addition, you can build 3 types of walls and gates in order to defend your land.
