Battle Splash – Pre-Alpha Demo Download

When I was a kid, I used to host water gun battles quite often. I’d put a lot of work into them preparing all the necessary equipment for outdoors, H2O-based warfare. I had water balloons, the little nozzle that you put on the spigot to help fill the balloons, and water guns of all shapes and sizes. My family would sometimes buy the off-brand cheap guns, but nothing worked as well as my Supersoaker. I always wished there was more I could do, thinking of other ways that would expand upon our already radical water gun battle, but some things I came up with were easier to accomplish in virtual reality. Battle Splash, a third-person shooter multiplayer battle arena game, achieves that with an excellent all-out battle using water-weapons. There are a few characters to choose from, a nice set of weapons, and tons of fun in the sun.

You’re ready for battle, fiendin for some H2O blasting action, so you fire up the multiplayer splash match arena menu. You set the map (currently there’s only one map available) set the time limit, max players and tons of other options just like you would in a Quake match. Choose from one of four characters, each with their own set of abilities, and stats like water resistance, speed, strength and accuracy. Then it’s game on, and your team spawns in their side of the map. Choosing your weapon carefully before you engage is one of the primary elements of combat, as you must take into consideration how many opponents are in front of you, how much slower you are when you carry bigger weapons, and more. Maybe you have no idea what’s around the corner? So how do you prepare? It’s up to you whether or not you want to deploy a turret and hide, run in with the bazooka and hope your splash damage takes out multiple players, or hang back and snipe with the rifle. You can battle with friends, enemies, AI, your teachers, whoever. No matter what, in this pre-alpha, you’ve got a good amount of content to host some unique battles, even if it’s in the same map over and over!
