BallisticNG – Beta Download

One of the most thrilling racing games I remember playing was F-Zero X on the Nintendo 64, and I don’t know if it’s the same for others, but that anti-grav racing genre is a rush. Usually a rush into a wall when you’re trying to powerslide and boost through a tight turn, but that’s the challenge of it. BallisticNG is one such AG racing game driven by the inspiring performance of the original Wipeout on the PSOne. Tons of tracks, several game modes, and a unique look for every craft, BallisticNG takes what we love about those AG racers of days passed and gives it a fresh coat of high-heat paint.

BallisticNG is set up in a league where teams compete just like anyone would flying a hovercraft on a winding course that defies everything NASCAR is grounded on. Each of the different teams established in the game have different play styles, and adjusting to the one that works best for you is probably your first objective. The handling and other attributes on the crafts will differ between teams, and it influences the direction of approach to each race. What else could they add to BallisticNG to make it even more replayable? How about the option to create custom tracks, ships, sounds and more? Ok now we have a customizable AG racing game that caters to how you want to play, what more could you want? How about a cup holder that doesn’t drop my anti-spill sippy cup?
