Anuchard is a 2D action adventure retro-inspired RPG, that gets an alpha demo you can download from either Steam, Itch or GameJolt, which is being developed by StellarNull..
The game is set in a fantasy world in which you play as a “Bellwielder”, with a goal of restoring a fallen civilisation by retrieving its missing people’s souls.
While the game is inspired from games like Soul Blazer and Terranigma, it also gives us a little bit of a Bastion vibe. Enjoy rebuilding a civilization as you combat various monsters with a “knockback” battle system, in which you knock enemies with your “Audros Bell”, as well as some objects, as you venture into dungeons to solve puzzles. You’ll also be playing around with cooking different types of dishes, where depending on what you eat, you’ll gain a different ability to make use of. Honestly, those dishes look good in a pixel art style..
